Mountain Air Country Club’s award winning community organic garden provides much of the fresh produce used in its restaurants. Community members can also grow their own produce and/or fresh flowers.
Members rent their own garden beds and decide what they want to grow with the help and support of our experienced on staff gardeners.
All growing and maintenance methods are totally organic for maximization of nutritional value and to protect the environment.
Craving heirloom tomatoes? The freshest salads? All produce from the community garden can be enjoyed by you and your family, or offered for sale at the Mountain Air Garden Market which takes place weekly on Fridays on the Village Green.
Our on staff gardeners, Ryan Wiebe and Jamie McCabe, are both highly experienced in organic gardening. Ryan was named 2014 North Carolina Small Farmer of the Year by the North Carolina Co-operative Extension.
